Led by the Spirit, growing in faith, serving in Christ, we shall bring God's glory to all.

CUB SCOUT PACK for the Utica/ Lewistown area? St. Paul's Church desires to sponsor a new Cub Scout Pack, and is seeking the names of interested boys and their parents. If you are interested, please call 301-898-9454 and leave names and contact information in mailbox #4 or e-mail: pastorbert@splcutica.org. NOTE: A recruitment/ information meeting will be held in the church's Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, 7:00 p.m. Boys and their parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend. No reservations necessary.

UPCOMING EVENTS/ SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES:

THE ANNUAL UTICA MEMORIAL DAY WORSHIP SERVICE will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul's sanctuary. It is sponsored by the Utica Cemetery Association. An ice cream social follows. All are invited.

THE PAUL "SONNY" LAMBERT MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND will be dedicated to the Glory of God and for use by children from the church and the community on Sunday, May 29, 4:00 p.m. The Playground is located adjacent to the Utica Cemetery Drive. All are invited.

SUNDAY, JUNE 12, Music Recognition Sunday. The importance of music in the life of the congregation will be celebrated at both worship services. Those who have participated in music ministry during the 2015-16 ministry year will be recognized.

CONGREGATIONAL PICNIC on Wednesday, June 15, 6:00 p.m. The Picnic will be held at the church's Picnic Woods (see directions below). Drinks, a main dish and tableware will be provided. Bring a salad, dessert or casserole to share. Eric and Wendolyn Trozzo, ELCA missionaries to Malaysia, will be visiting and will offer a program.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR CHURCH BUILDING from Frederick: US Route 15 N from Frederick. 1/2 mile after passing Resthaven Cemetery, bear right onto Old Frederick Road. The church is on your right in 1 1/2 miles.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CHURCH'S PICNIC WOODS from Utica: Proceed northbound on Old Frederick Rd. for 1 mile, turn left onto Lewistown Rd and proceed 1 1/2 miles. The gate to the Picnic Woods is on the left. NOTE: The bridge across Fishing Creek on Lewistown Rd. is being replaced....follow the posted detour to the Picnic Woods if traveling from Hessong Bridge Rd. (Hessong Bridge Rd. north, right on Angleberger Rd., right on Bottomley Rd., right on Wilhide Rd., right on Lewistown Rd. to the gate on the left.)
