     9:15 a.m.  Adult Sunday School and Adult Choir Rehearsal

CUB SCOUT PACK for the Utica/ Lewistown area? St. Paul's Church desires to sponsor a new Cub Scout Pack, and is seeking the names of interested boys and their parents. UPCOMING EVENTS/ SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES:

The ARTS AT GREEN SPRING CONCERT SERIES in 2016 is dedicated in memory of Louise Ediger, a lifetime member of St. Paul's Church of Utica, and a founder of the concert series. The final concert in the 2016 series will be held on Friday, June 24, 7:00 p.m. at the Basilica of the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on Seton Ave. in Emmitsburg. The American Youth Harp Ensemble and the Virginia Choristers will be performing. Free admission. Donations will be accepted.

THE AMERICAN YOUTH HARP ENSEMBLE Maryland Summer Academy will be hosted by St. Paul's Church of Utica the week of July 11, 2016. There will be public concerts held on Tuesday, July 12, and Wednesday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Academy's Closing Concert will be held on Friday, July 15, at 4:00 p.m. The concerts are open to the public. There is no admission fee, although a donation will be requested to support music education for youth. 

CONGREGATIONAL PICNICS SCHEDULED FOR THE PICNIC WOODS:

     Monday, July 11, 6 p.m.  - Covered-dish meal. Program by Jenna Duranko, young adult vocalist and marimba player.

     Thursday, September 8, 6 p.m. - Covered-dish meal. Members of the Frederick County Sheriff's Department will attend as guests as the church honors first responders on the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

THE ANNUAL UTICA PICNIC IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 20, 12 noon through 9:00 p.m. in the church's Picnic Woods. Details to follow, but please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR CHURCH BUILDING from Frederick: US Route 15 N from Frederick. 1/2 mile after passing Resthaven Cemetery, bear right onto Old Frederick Road. The church is on your right in 1 1/2 miles.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CHURCH'S PICNIC WOODS (7515 Lewistown Rd, Thurmont, MD. 21788)  from Utica: Proceed northbound on Old Frederick Rd. for 1 mile, turn left onto Lewistown Rd and proceed 1 1/2 miles. The gate to the Picnic Woods is on the left. NOTE: The bridge across Fishing Creek on Lewistown Rd. is being replaced....follow the posted detour to the Picnic Woods if traveling from Hessong Bridge Rd. (Hessong Bridge Rd. north, right on Angleberger Rd., right on Bottomley Rd., right on Wilhide Rd., right on Lewistown Rd. to the gate on the left.)
